Dr. (Mrs.) Ehi Winifred Isa, a Consultant Psychiatrist at Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Benin City was recently presented with an award in recognition of her contributions to the health of children on the radio programme, “My Pikin”, broadcast on Speed FM Radio, in Benin City, Edo State Nigeria.

The award was presented to her by Radio-Media last November 2022, in recognition of her extensive knowledge and commitment of helping to spread invaluable information in the field of healthcare. It is worthy of note that the recipient of the  award has been a regular show presenter who host different health professionals every Sundays on “My Pikin”, to speak on a variety of health topics and offer advice during the broadcast.

The award presentation is a fitting recognition of Dr. Isa’s work in helping to improve the public understanding of healthcare issues. It should be stated at this juncture that, her commitment to helping people access the information they need to stay healthy is an example to us all.

We thus, congratulate Dr. Isa on her award and thank her for her invaluable contributions towards radio programmes in our dear country Nigeria.
