It was a day of jubilation, celebration and camaraderie on Monday 3rd August 2026, at Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Benin City as members of staff came together to celebrate the birthday of the Medical Director, Dr Imafidon Osama Agbonile.
The hospital atmosphere was transformed into a carnival-like scene as staff gathered in large numbers to celebrate the institution’s chief executive, whose leadership has been widely associated with remarkable infrastructural development across the hospital.
The celebration, marked by music, goodwill messages and abundance of food and drinks, reflected the deep admiration and appreciation staff have for the Medical Director. Different departments and unit took turns to present birthday wishes, expressing gratitude for his commitment to improving both the hospital’s facilities and the welfare of staff.
Speaking during the celebration, several staff members described the Medical Director as a visionary and digital leader whose dedication has transformed the hospital environment. They prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, long life, and many more fruitful years of service and celebration.
Responding to the overwhelming show of love, Dr Agbonile expressed heartfelt appreciation to members of staff for the memorable surprise. He thanked them for their kind gestures, prayers, and unwavering support, describing the celebration as both humbling and inspiring.
The event also featured cutting of the birthday cake, prayers for the Medical Director, and photographs session.
