
Tricycle Riders popularly known as “Keke Napep” plying the access road to the host community (Idunmwunowina) where the new site of the hospital is situated have made an appeal to the Management of the hospital to assist them in tarring the road before the rain season sets in.
The Chairman of the Tricycle Riders Association, Mr. Uyi Okhionkpaimwonyi in his address thanked the Medical Director, Dr. Imafidon Osama Agbonile and his Management team for granting them audience, and stated that their sole aim of visiting the hospital was to make an appeal to the Medical Director to help them grade the road.
In his response, the Medical Director assured them that plans were already on for Government to ensure that the road is motorable for the residents and all those plying the road. He informed them that he has been engaging the Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, Senator Matthew Urhoghide, who has given commitment to facilitate the tarring of the road. He expressed appreciation to the community leaders and members for ensuring security in the area. He used the occasion to inform them that Federal Government has budget proposal to build a General Medical Centre at the hospital new site in Idunmwunowina Community, noting that it would help residents of the community have access to quality healthcare facility.
