Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates, male and female for admission into the POST BASIC COURSE in Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing for the year 2020/2021. The course leads to the award of a REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE CERTIFICATE (RPN) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Prospective candidates must POSSESS RN CERTIFICATE of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with at least ONE YEAR post qualification experience, NYSC for degree holders, and a current practising license. Other nursing qualifications will be an added advantage. 
2. Applicants must possess WASC/GCE O/L with at least five (5) credits in NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS. 
3. National Examination Council Secondary School Certificate (NECO) with at least five (5) credits in NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS. 
4. NABTED Secondary School Certificate in Science subjects with at least five (5) credits at a maximum of two sittings that must not be combined with WASC/GCE or NECO. 

Note: The Credits must include ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS 

The duration of the course is eighteen (18) months
