The Medical Director of the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Benin City on Wednesday, February 18, 2025, received the newly elected state executives of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) during a courtesy visit to his office.

The delegation, led by the new State Chairman of MHWUN, Comrade Ogbeide Omon Osagie, formally introduced the newly elected executives to the hospital’s management. In his remarks, Comrade Ogbeide commended the Medical Director for his outstanding leadership and philanthropic gestures, particularly the staff welfare packages provided during festive seasons. He lauded the administration’s commitment to staff well-being and organizational growth.

In his response, the Medical Director, Dr Imafidon O. Agbonile warmly welcomed the MHWUN state executives, congratulating them on their election and expressing his best wishes for a successful tenure. He reaffirmed the hospital management’s commitment to fostering a harmonious working relationship with the union to enhance staff welfare and institutional development. He also used the medium to commend members of staff for their dedication, good attitude and commitment to work. a key highlight of the visit was the presentation of a plaque to the Medical Director by Comrade Ogbeide in recognition of his exemplary leadership.
