Medical students from Igbinedion University Okada officially commenced their 12-week posting in Psychiatry on 5 May 2026. The program began with an engaging orientation session, setting the stage for their journey into mental health training.

This program is designed to provide them with both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical experience in the field of mental health.

The schedule is structured as follows:

Weeks 1–2: Intensive lecture series.

Weeks 3–12: Clinical posting, where students will gain hands-on experience in patient care, diagnosis, and management under supervision.
