The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital (FNPH) Benin City Chapter, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Imafidon O. Agbonile, in his office. The visit was organized to formally introduce the newly elected executive members of the association to the Medical Director.
During the visit the ARD President, Dr I. Igbinovia, expressed their gratitude to Dr Agbonile for his consistent and invaluable support for the and invaluable support for the association over the years. She commended his leadership and the positive impact of his administration on the hospital and its staff. She also presented a certificate of appreciation the Medical Director. Other members of the executive present included: Dr Adeduntan Julius Opeyemi, General Secretary; Dr Ajayi Sunday Adekiya, Public Relations Officer (PRO), and Dr Afagha Emmanuel, Director of Sports/Welfare.
In response, Dr Agbonile extended his congratulations to the newly elected executive members and appreciated their visit. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the association and hospital management, stating, “I hope that the new executive will partner with the hospital management for better service delivery”.
Dr Agbonile also used the opportunity to commend the hospital’s doctors for their unwavering dedication to duty, noting that their commitment has been instrumental in the hospital’s achievements.
