In a progressive step to enhance the hospital environment, Dr. I.O. Agbonile, Medical Director has procured variety of mowers and organized training for the hospital’s Field Workers on the proper handling of the equipment. The training which took place on 10th July, 2024 is part of his agenda to create a clean and conducive environment for patients, staff and visitors.
The newly acquired equipment includes lawn mowers, brush cutters, and trimmer line mowers, each serving a specific purpose in the upkeep of the hospital’s outdoor areas. The Medical Director initiative underscores the importance of a well-maintained environment in promoting health and well-being.
The training focused on the safe and efficient use of the new mowers, covering essential maintenance techniques to ensure the longevity and optional performance of the equipment. It aimed to equip the staff with the necessary skills to operate with the necessary skills to operate the mowers effectively, thereby enhancing their overall efficiency in maintaining the hospital grounds.
In an interview conducted with the participants, the training was met with widespread appreciation. Many of the participants expressed their gratitude to the Medical Director for his forward-thinking approach and commitment to both their professional development and the hospital’s environment.
