Top officials from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare on Monday 1^st –Tuesday 2^nd July 2024 conducted an oversight visit to Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Benin (FNPH Benin). The visit aimed at assessing the various projects undertaken by Dr. Imafidon O. Agbonile, Medical Director of the hospital. The officials included the Director of Hospital Services, Dr. Jimoh O. Salaudeen; Mrs. Tetshoma T. Dafeta, Director, Human Resources, Dr. Aderemi Azeez, Director of Specialty; Mrs. Larel Paul, Representative of the Hon. Minister of Health; Mr. Peter Ejembi, Representative of the Permanent Secretary; and Mr. Ayinla Kazeem, Secretary.

The Medical Director and his management team guided the officials on a comprehensive tour of the hospital’s facilities and ongoing projects. The tour showcased the extensive efforts and improvements made under Dr. Agbonile’s leadership, highlighting advancements in infrastructure, patient care, and medical services.

The officials expressed their satisfaction with the achievements and quality of the projects. The Medical Director expressed his gratitude for the visit and the positive feedback, reaffirming his commitment to continuing the hospital’s development initiatives.
