In a significant milestone, the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital (FNPH) in Benin City has expanded its services to include surgery, obstetrics/gynaecology, specialized cardiology, and neurology, bridging the gap between mental health care and specialized treatments.
According to the Chief Medical Director/CEO, Dr. Imafidon Agbonile, the expansion aims to provide holistic and integrated healthcare services, reduce stigma associated with mental illness, and improve the hospitalโs internally generated revenue.
The hospital now offers a range of services, including state-of-the-art molecular laboratory, radio-diagnostic, 4-D ultrasound, immunization, and more. Experienced specialists staff the hospital, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective treatment using modern equipment.
