In a proactive move to uphold the highest standards of healthcare delivery, the management team of Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Benin City, led by the Medical Director, Dr. I. O. Agbonile, embarked on an extensive tour of the hospital’s facilities at the new site on Thursday 15th February 2024. The tour encompassed critical areas, including the ongoing construction of the impressive General Medical Centre (GMC), Male Ward II Storey Building, Out-Patient, the state-of-the-art School of Nursing building and the ground floor of the Administrative Block, currently serving as a temporary space for the GMC/NHIA.
The essence of the inspection was to closely monitor the progress of the construction, assess the functionality of existing facilities, and ensure seamless service delivery to esteemed clients. It is worthy of note that the hospital has consistently strived to provide exceptional healthcare services, and this tour reaffirms management’s commitment to excellence. The Male Ward II Storey building and the Female Ward building were meticulously inspected. These wards play a crucial role in patients’ recovery, and the management team ensured that they meet the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and comfort. The OPD often the first point of contact for patients was evaluated for efficiency, patient flow, and accessibility. The Medical Director used the medium to reemphasize the need for prompt and compassionate service delivery.
