Yesterday, October 24, 2023, The Niger-Delta Youth Vanguard (NDYV), the umbrella body of all youths both at home and in Diaspora, led by the president, Comr. Kenneth Ehiogun, presented an award of excellence, “Grand Icon of Excellence,” to the medical director, Dr. Imafidon O. Agbonile.

The choice of this award is based on his support for the youth and commitment to service to the good people of the Niger Delta.

Receiving the award on behalf of the medical director, the head of clinical services, Dr. J. O. Omoaregba, appreciated the group for the award and also encouraged them to use their office to spread the word on mental health and the services available in the hospital.
