The staff of Child and Adolescent Unit of Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital (FNPH), Benin, paid a courtesy visit to the Medical Director, Dr Imafidon O. Agbonile, in his office on Wednesday 8, January 2025. The visit was led by the Head of the Unit, Dr A.O. Archibong (Consultant Psychiatrist), and was aimed at formally congratulating the Medical Director on his reappointment for a second tenure.

In her address, Dr Archibong conveyed the unit’s appreciation and admiration for the Medical Director’s exemplary leadership and commitment to advancing both mental and general medical care in the institution. She stated, “We wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations on your reappointment as Medical Director. This is a well-deserved recognition of your dedication, leadership, and the exceptional contributions you have made to the healthcare sector. Your continued commitment to advancing medical care and improving patient outcome is truly inspiring”.

The Medical Director, in his response, expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gesture and kind words. He acknowledged the dedication of the Child and Adolescent Unit staff and emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving the hospital’s goals.
