World Occupational Therapy Day is celebrated globally every year on October 27th. The day is set aside to honour the dedicated professionals and create awareness of the contribution of OT to health and well-being. The theme for World Occupational Therapy Day 2025 is “Occupational Therapy in Action.”

The occupational therapy professionals in FNPH Benin took the campaign to the New Benin market to sensitize the public on the role of occupational therapists in the management of mental health and children with special needs here in the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Benin.

Today, we celebrate how occupational therapists put compassion into action to restore lives, build strength, and inspire independence. Here is to every occupational therapist making an impact through their hands, words, and heart.
